Arlene and I are looking forward to setting up our wares at Fibrations again this year. We have lots of colourful tea towels and other things for sale.
I am retired and loving it. I learned to weave a few years ago and I have been very busy with my 2 floor looms. One is a 4 shaft Leclerc counterbalance loom made from maple and built in the 1940's. The other is an 8 shaft Leclerc Jack loom. I love to weave the 8 shaft patterns, but there are times when I have to lift 7 shafts with one treadle, such as with Bronson Lace, so I will keep my little 30 inch counterbalance loom for my senior years. *Well I have sold both those looms and I am now weaving on a brand new Baby Wolf. It is 8 shafts and is a smaller loom but it is great fit for me, as I am short. I need to live to at least 100 to explore all the ideas going through my brain. I also take music lessons at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. I play recorder but not the little ones we had at school. I like to play my bass recorder. I had a website with Wordpress for a few years, but it was getting expensive paying for the program, and URL name , I only blog once in a while so I thought I would try Weebly. I will let you know how it goes!
I am slowly getting back to blogging and would love to share some pictures of Victoria.
